Hello!

My name is Rich Sutton, and I bring over 30 years of experience in the translation industry, having worked on both the client and service provider sides. After starting my career as a software engineer, I developed a passion for the technical aspects of making products and services accessible to a global audience. My career has provided me with a unique perspective on diverse cultures, strengthening my commitment to supporting initiatives that protect the planet and empower communities.

In recent years, I have transitioned from a corporate focus to work with non-profits dedicated to environmental, humanitarian, and educational initiatives. I am excited to apply my experience to my role at Proz Pro Bono, where I am working to streamline technical processes and expand the organization’s impact.

Outside of work, I enjoy playing basketball, travelling with my wife of 25 years, and most anything that allows me to use power tools.
