With over 10 years of experience in virtual office administration, and an educational background in business administration, translation, and human rights, I have worked across time zones and cultures, developing a deep appreciation for effective communication and team work in a global community.
Language has always fascinated me, and "donating words" truly resonates with me, which is why I volunteer as a Sinhala translator. Inspired by this community's incredible generosity and dedication, I joined Proz Pro Bono as both a translator and admin support volunteer before joining the team full time in 2023.
I focus on day-to-day operations ensuring smooth execution of translation projects and serve as the primary point of contact for volunteers. This includes managing ongoing translations, maintaining the dashboard, curating the website content and also onboarding new volunteers.
