Hello!
I’m Susan Ring, and I’m delighted to be bringing my expertise to the ProZ Pro Bono Elevate program. My role is to design and implement training initiatives that elevate translators, foster personal and professional growth, and create an even stronger global community. I believe in the power of learning and collaboration to transform both our individual careers as well as the causes we collectively support.
My career began in language teaching, translation and interpreting, and over the years, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the art of language and its ability to connect people across cultures. With a background as an entrepreneur, I’ve been fortunate to engage with talented professionals in the industry, offering support and guidance in their career development.
Passionate about both teaching and community building, I thrive on creating spaces where people feel inspired and connected. I look forward to working with our dedicated ProZ Pro Bono volunteers as we harness our collective skills to make a difference in the world. Together, we can elevate our work and contribute to causes that truly matter.
Oh, and I love yoga, mental health and doing absolutely nothing!
